Reimaging Vanderbilt family heirlooms for the holidays
Every piece in our holiday collection, Christmas with Mrs. Vanderbilt, was sketched, designed, and developed by Aubrey Vanderbilt Cecil Baliles as an homage to her great-great-grandmother, the legendary Edith Vanderbilt, who was known for her exceptional fashion sense in addition to her wonderful philanthropic works.

The lady of Biltmore House
Edith Vanderbilt was known not only for her philanthropic endeavors and preservation of Biltmore House, but also for her fabulous sense of style and ability to throw incredible parties.

Evolution
Growing up on Biltmore
Aubrey spent her youth running around on Biltmore Estate and eventually used Biltmore House as inspiration for her designs – Edith’s bedroom always being her favorite.
